Food Items needed by Southington Community Services Now

Janet Mellon, Director of Southington Community Services has announced that there is a critical needed for certain select food items which are always in high demand but not necessarily available from donor sources or from Food Share.

Mellon asks individual ciitizens and groups, such as, schools, churches, clubs, service, fraternal and civic organizations as well as businesses to try to make a donation of the following food items:

1.  Cereals  *

2.  Tuna Fish *

3.   Peanut Butter & Jelly

4.  Pasta

5.  Macaroni and Cheese

It is requested that donations be brought during regular hours to the Southington Food Pantry located at 91 Norton Street in Plantsville.

"Blessed are the poor and the hungry". 

Blessed are you who help feed the poor and hungry!
