The Annual Fall RV Jamboree, sponsored by Hemlock Hill RV of Southington Connecticut raised over $20,000 in its milestone 15th year at the Terryville Campgrounds for Make-A-Wish® Connecticut. The mission of Make-A-Wish is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
Across the years, the annual RV Jamboree has raised almost $300,000 for Make-A-Wish, granting countless wishes for Connecticut children when they need it most.
“The RV Jamboree is an incredible example of the community coming together to make a difference in the life of a child,” commended Kim Smith, Development Director at Make-A-Wish Connecticut. “When you see this many people come out year after year for a weekend-long celebration, filled with energy and excitement and just sheer joy, you cannot help but be reminded of the good in people. We are incredibly grateful to Hemlock Hill RV, the Ames Family and the entire RV Jamboree team for their years of support and friendship.”
Make-A-Wish also sends out a very special thank you to The Terryville Lions Club for their on-going support of the Connecticut chapter.
