The holiday light display on the Southington Town Green will be turned on at 5:30 PM on Friday, December 6, 2013 to kick off the annual "Hospitality Night" event in Downtown Southington. The Southington Parks & Recreation Department would like to invite a resident youth to flip the ceremonial switch and light up the night!
Southington residents 3 to 10 years of age are eligible to enter online for a chance to be chosen as the official "switch flipper." Immediate family members of the selected child are welcome to assist. One entry per child will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted via the electronic form on the Parks & Recreation Department's website. Visit www.southington.org/holidaylightscontest by Sunday, December 1st to enter. A winner will be chosen at random on Monday, December 2nd.
