Save the Date for Dream Ride 2013 to benefit Special Olympics

The East Coast’s Premier Motorcycle and Car Cruise to benefit Special Olympics – Dream Ride 2013 presented by Bozzuto’s Inc. and Hometown Foundation - is back and better than ever! Engine enthusiasts’ will be riding to Connecticut in August for a great cause. Dream Ride will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2013. Riders from all over will converge in Farmington, Connecticut the weekend of August 23, 24, and 25. In addition to Dream Ride, owners of exotic and classic cars can participate in Dream Cruise, presented by Papa’s Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram of New Britain. This much-anticipated event combines shiny-chrome, delicious food, live entertainment, industry-leading vendors and more. Registration is now open to the public. Whether you ride two, three or four wheels or just want to come out and enjoy the festivities, you can register at www.dreamride.org. Register by August 9th and receive a free t-shirt and pin. Registration is $30 per driver, $20 per passenger and $20 per spectator. Additional fundraising to support Special Olympics is encouraged. Dream Ride and Dream Cruise aim to unite thousands of motorcycle and car enthusiasts to enjoy the ride, celebrate the achievements of Special Olympics athletes and join in a movement that inspires respect and inclusion for people of all abilities. When motorcycle and car enthusiasts who participate in Dream Ride and Dream Cruise reach The Farmington Club in Farmington, Connecticut on August 25th, they will be greeted by Special Olympics athletes. All will enjoy a Black Angus strip steak and boneless chicken breast luncheon courtesy of Bozzuto’s Inc. and The Farmington Club and will have the opportunity to peruse the picturesque Farmington Club grounds, visit displays by leading industry vendors, and listen to a great line-up of live bands. Last year’s Dream Ride raised $340,000 for Special Olympics. The event has raised $1.7 million since its inception.
