Southington Lions Club Donates CO Detectors to Southington Fire Department

The Southington Fire Department recently received a donation of 30 First Alert Carbon Monoxide detectors from the Southington Lions Club to replenish the stock of CO detectors for their Community Risk Reduction Program.

The CRR program has received a big interest from our citizens since it started in March. Since then the Southington Fire Department on-duty crews have completed 120 Home Safety Surveys, installed over 220 smoke detectors and over 80 carbon monoxide detectors.

We would like to recognize Southington Lowes for providing the CO detectors to the Southington Lions Club to make their donation possible.
