The Southington South 9/10 District All Stars had their first loss tonight against Newington. The two teams are now tied at 1-1 in the best of a 3 game series for the state championship. They will face each other again in a final contest on Tuesday night at 5:30 pm at Adams School, 233 Church Street in Guilford. Come and cheer them on. A win will send them to Cranston, Rhode Island next weekend to represent Connecticut in the regionals. So wear your maroon and bring a carload of fans! Go South!
