"Super Lawyer" Timothy Moynahanto Move Into Historic Building In Waterbury & Expands to Southbury

Timothy C. Moynahan, Esq., named “Super Lawyer of New England and Connecticut” 2009 through 2012 by New England “Super Lawyer” magazine, has announced he will be moving The Moynahan Law Firm to 60 North Main Street, the former Waterbury Savings Bank, and expanding into offices at 49 Peter Street in Southbury. “After 26 years at 141 East Main Street here in Waterbury,” stated Moynahan, “my team and I will be moving into the beautiful, historically-significant Waterbury Savings Bank beginning February 1st, and establishing offices at 49 Peter Street in Southbury. These are all very positive and exciting changes for The Moynahan Law Firm.” 

Recognized for three consecutive years, 2009 to 2012 as a “Super Lawyer of New England and Connecticut”, a rating of lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement, Moynahan has been practicing law in the Waterbury region since 1964. Moynahan and The Moynahan Law Firm focus their practice on personal injury and criminal defense while collaborating on corporate and commercial law, appellate law, employment and labor, estate and probate, family law and domestic relations, immigration, intellectual property, international law, real estate and workers’ compensation.

Heralded as a leading attorney in the Waterbury region, Timothy C. Moynahan is a member of Post University’s online MBA Advisory Council. He is also past chairman and current board member of the non-profit Palace Theater Group, Inc. In 2005, Moynahan was named “Man of the Year” by the Yeshiva Gedolah of Waterbury organization, and was recipient of the Coqui Award presented by the Hispanic Coalition in Waterbury given as special recognition to an individual who has made a positive impact in the Hispanic community.
