YWCA to hold Evening of Treasures Auction honoring Paul & Veronica D'Addabbo

YWCA New Britain’s 20th Annual Evening of Treasures Auction is scheduled for Friday, November 8 at 6:00 p.m. at Farmington Gardens in Farmington.

Each year at the event, the YWCA presents an award to a local family in appreciation of their dedication and service to the YWCA and the New Britain community.  This year’s “Roaring Twenties” party will honor Paul and Veronica D’Addabbo of New Britain.  The D’Addabbos have been active in the community for many years, and have been involved in several organizations including UNICO, Boys & Girls Club, United Way, Community Foundation of Greater New Britain, and Neighborhood Housing Services.  YWCA Executive Director Robin Sharp says, “Paul has provided trusted guidance and leadership to the YWCA at all levels of the organization.  He and Ronni have set an example of volunteerism throughout this community that has inspired others to also step up and help.”

The event will feature an open bar during the silent auction, and a photo booth and Charleston lessons during cocktail hour.   Dinner, raffle, and live auction portions of the program will follow.  Tickets are $85 per person.  For more information on tickets, sponsorship, or advertising please visit www.ywcanewbritain.org or call 860-225-4681 x212.
