Dodgeball Tournament Returns for Third Consecutive Year

If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a dodgeball - and local adolescents and teenagers will vie for title of dodgeball champion on Jan. 27.

On Sunday, Jan. 27, the Southington Community YMCA will hold its Third Annual Teen Dodgeball Tournament. There is a middle school and high school division. Maximum of six (6) players per team. $5 per person and must be paid in full at time of registration.

Pre-registration highly recommended. Add $2 per person for registration on game day. Registration is currently available at the Southington Community YMCA front desk.

There will be two divisions: a 6th – 8th grade division and a high school division. Trophies will be provided for winners of each division, with the middle school age students beginning at noon and the high school division to begin at 2:30 p.m.

There will be a maximum of 16 teams per division, so act quickly! Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. If divisions are not full, the game day registration begins up to 30 minutes before games start.
