Heathy Family Funfest 2011 Brings Healthy Habits to Thousands
The 2011 festival brought more than 2,000 area residents to the Aqua Turf on Sunday afternoon.
The 2011 Healthy Family Funfest drew residents from throughout the area as more than 2,000 people came to enjoy the free activities at the Aqua Turf Club on Sunday afternoon. The turnout led people to enjoy a variety of activities from a Wii contest to cooking sessions and live entertainment.
"We wanted people to get out and do something fun that would also encourage them to both happy and healthy," said Southington-Cheshire YMCA Director John Myers. "We hope this will do just that."
