Hobart Street to Close June 25-26 for Sewer Repairs

Expect detours next work as sewer work is conducted.

The Southington Water Department is ready to continue efforts to improve infrastructure around the community and as they conduct work along Hobart Street next week, residents should expect detours.

Southington Town Manager Garry Brumback and the Southington Police Department Facebook page each announced that Hobart Street will be closed from Skyline Drive to Woodruff Street on Tuesday, June 25, and Wednesday, June 26.

"The police department has authorized the closure of a portion of Hobart Street for the purpose of sewer repair work in preparation of the mill and overlay road project scheduled on Hobart Street," Brumback said. "Detour signs will be provided for through traffic. Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes."
