Honor Your Military Member on Patch

Memorial Day is a time to remember military members we have lost but it is also important to recognize those still with us.

While Memorial Day is a time to reflect on the many soldiers we have lost over the centuries, it is also a time to consider the many troops we still have fighting today and those who have honorably served. Help us honor all of our community's military, present or passed, by adding their names and photos to this article.

In the comments below, please leave his or her name, rank and years of service, and if you'd like to include any biographical information, please do.

You can add a photo to the gallery above by clicking Upload Photos and Videos beneath the photo that is already there.

Thank you to all our service men and women who have fought and are currently fighting for our country and our freedom.

I would likd to honor my father Ervin St.Onge who served in the Korean War and my nephew corporal Tim St. Onge who served in Iraq. We are proud of both of them for their bravery in serving our country. Love to you both!

Our family honors our brother, Lt. John C. Kupuck, (1921-1945) United States Army Air Corp, pilot with the Troop Carrier Command, who lost his life when his plane went down in Leyte Gulf. "Gone but never forgotten."

Along with my father, Robert K. Lyke, Sr., (1919-1968) who served proudly in the US Army Air Corps, I honor and remember all Veterans that served and are still serving to protect our great country. It saddens me to think about those that made the ultimate sacrifice. 1,800 veterans die every day...don't let any vet die alone.
