Local Group Aims To Promote Unity With 912 Project

The first meeting drew eight local residents and the group hopes to grow a "non-political" base to promote unity and preserve the constitution.

When Ron Lamoreaux first heard about the 912 Project, he began to do research and quickly discovered that he could not get a copy of the Constitution at the library. He could read it in an encyclopedia, but could not get a copy to take home.

Lamoreaux then took around and realized neighbors also didn't know each other. He wondered what happened to America and that's what led him to found the Southington chapter of the 912 Project.

Last Wednesday, the chapter met for the first time and Lamoreaux hopes that it will continue to grow and offer opportunities for residents in Southington, Hartford County and New Haven County will get involved in helping one another, returning to traditional values and preserving the Constitution.
