Hundreds Flock to CCSU for National Plug In Day

Southington residents were among the hundreds that went to Central Connecticut State University over the weekend for "National Plug In Day" to support electric vehicles.

Drawing quite a crowd the New England Electric Auto Association held the Connecticut Plug in day at CCSU Sunday. While there was many newer electric cars such at the Leaf and the Volt, there was a good number of Hybrid cars with expanded battery packs and a few vehicles that started out their lives as gas cars but lost their engine for and electric motor and the fuel tank for battery packs.
