Restaurants Ready for 12th Taste of Southington

More than a dozen local restaurants to offer a variety of dishes.

The Taste of Southington, a quintessential summer event, is set to return to the grounds of the Barnes Museum Aug. 7, offering locals a taste of the town.

The annual festival is now in its 12th year is slated to run from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Rain date is Aug. 8.

Restaurants participating this year include Anthony Jack’s Wood Fired Grill, CC Carvers Gourmet Sandwiches, Christina’s Gourmet Cookies, Cork & Brew, Machiavelli’s, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Napoli Café Deli & Catering, Namaste India, Paul Gregory’s Bistro, Randy’s Wooster St. Pizza Shop, Saint’s Restaurant and Catering, Sixpence Pie Company and Smokin’ With Chris, according to the event brochure.

The Dave and Dave Show, a local father and son team, will provide musical entertainment, playing classic oldies and pop tunes.
