Southington Police Set to Host Fourth Annual Gift Drive

Cruisers will take to Walmart mid-day on Saturday as the department looks to help Southington Community Services stock up on gifts to help those in need this holiday season.

Officers will take to Walmart this weekend - but it's not policing or security they are providing.

Instead members of the Southington Police Department will put on their volunteer hats as the department, in partnership with Southington Community Services, will host their Fourth Annual Holiday Gift Drive this Saturday, Dec. 1.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Walmart store, 235 Queen St. in Southington. Any new toys or gifts for children and teenagers will be accepted.
