Southington Town Schedules: Budget Hearing, Family Fun and Medication Disposal

There's a full slate of meetings this week, starting right off on Monday as the Southington Town Council takes comments form the public on the 2013-14 budget. There are also numerous events this week including the annual Medication Disposal program and Family Fun Night.

Tuesday, April 23

  • Middle Schools Building Committee, 4:30 p.m., at DePaolo Middle School, 385 Pleasant St. in Southington.
  • Housing Authority, 7 p.m., at Zdunczyk Terrace, 500 Pleasant St. in Southington. 
  • Zoning Board of Appeals, 7 p.m., in the Municipal Center Assembly Room, 200 N. Main St. in Southington.

Parents-4-A-Change Meeting
Tuesday, April 23, 6:30 p.m., at the Derynoski Elementary School, 240 Main St. in Southington.
This meeting will be a support only meeting, NO SPEAKERS. For parents with an opiate addicted child, this is an opportunity to spend some quality time talking and sharing with other parents, giving and getting support for you and your family. Email parents4achange@yahoo.com with question.

Free Medication Disposal Program
Saturday, April 27, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Southington Water Department, 605 W. Queen St. in Southington.
