The Charter Revision Commission will deliberate again this week, this time focusing on the opinions of surrounding towns in how they have managed without a police or fire commission. But that's only one of many things to come.

Saturday, May 4, 9 a.m. to Noon, at the Arc of Southington, 201 W. Main St., Plantsville.
Shred up to four boxes of documents (except 3-ring binders) for a donation (you decide the amount) - remove all plastics before shredding. Call (860) 628-9220 for more information.

St. Thomas School Community Tag Sale
Saturday, May 4, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at St Thomas School, 133 Bristol St. in Southington.
Spring cleaning got you down? Looking for a way to get rid of that old stuff you've been saving? Why not sell it at the St. Thomas School Tag Sale. There are two ways to join us-either rent a table or donate your items to our school. Reserve your table early! Tables are just $25.00 each. The tag sale will be held at the St. Thomas School parking lot, 133 Bristol St. Food vendors will be available the day of the event. Make checks payable to Saint Thomas School HSA.
