Winter Carnival Draws Families From Across Connecticut
The Third Annual Winter Carnival at Mount Southington provided fun for all ages.
There was plenty of music, food and fun for families Saturday as Mount Southington hosted its Third Annual Winter Carnival and played host to hundreds of families from throughout the state.
The annual carnival, designed to provide a family-friendly atmosphere, included a DJ, visits from Pucky the Whale of the Connecticut Whale, and Sonar the Wolf of the former Hartford Wolfpack
"This is what weekends are all about," said Tanya Richert, event coordintor for Mount Southington.
