During the month of November, the Friends Bookstore at the Southington Public Library is having a half-price sale on all donated items. The store is full of wonderful items, including many like-new and nearly new books. This is a great time to stock up for some winter reading or gift giving. The store's hours are: Monday ~ 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday ~ 2:00 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday ~ 2:00 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday ~ 2:00 to -5:00 p.m., and Friday ~ 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
