United Way of Southington Dinner and Auction

Why Go:
Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with the community and help raise money for the United Way at the same time with this "Pot of Gold" dinner. The event includes a pasta dinner with beer and wine, raffles and live and silent auctions.

$60 per person.

Second Annual St. Paddy's Day Bash

The Hydeaway Cafe, 115 W. Main St. in Plantsville – (860) 426-9411, Thursday, March 17, from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Why Go:

Arc of Southington Dinner Dance

Where/When:
The Aqua Turf Club, 556 Mulberry St. in Plantsville – (860) 628-8745, Saturday, March 19, from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Why Go:
Another great night out for a good cause. This dinner benefits The Arc of Southington programs and will include an open bar, guest speaker Rev. Will Marotti, DJ Dave Murphy, a silent auction and raffles.
Price:
$75 per person, $675 for a table of 10.

Dinner with a Doc: Weekend Warrior


Where/When:
Southington Care Center at 45 Meriden Ave. in Southington - (860) 621-9559, Wednesday, March 23, at 5 p.m.
Why Go:
Do you have aches and pains from over exerting yourself on the weekend? Dinner with the Doc, a special program hosted by the Southington Care Center, will allow residents to learn how to deal with those aches.
Price: Free but RSVP is required.

Bonterra's "Midweek Madness"

Where/When:
Bonterra Restaurant, 98 Main St. in Southington - (860) 426-2620, Tuesday through Thursday.
Why Go: A special "two-for" meal provides a perfect getaway in the middle of the week. Dinner includes wine, salads and two entrees.

$36.95.
