Southington Police Seeking Help In Locating Missing 67-Year-Old

Southington police are seeking help from the public in locating a missing 67-year-old who was last seen Wednesday morning.

The Southington Police Department is reaching out to the public, seeking information to help locate a missing 67-year-old town resident.

Harold Smith went missing Wednesday morning and had last been seen at his Little Fawn Road home, police said in a press release.

"A family member reported him missing after noticing he was not at his home as he was expected to be," Lt. Michael Baribault said. "He was last seen around 10:30 a.m."

Smith is a white male, standing approximately five feet, wight inches tall and weighing approximately 210 pounds. He has gray hair and hazel colored eyes, wearing glasses.

"The family was not sure what Smith was wearing when he left the home, but they did say he almost always wears black sneakers with white socks," Baribault said.

Smith cannot read or write but he does recognize his name, police said, but has his wallet on his person with emergency numbers located inside. He frequents the downtown Southington area and Plantsville Center section of Southington.

Anyone who has seen Smith is asked to immediately contact the Southington Police Department at (860) 621-0010.
