Each week, Visions for Vacancies has gone around town and offered empty locations and asked our readers what they would like to see fill each location. Some have been filled, such as the old Bernie's Store, the empty storefront in Walmart plaza and now work is being done at the site of the former Blockbuster.
So this week, we are going to take a break and change things up a bit and highlight some of the business in town that you already love.
On Friday afternoon, we asked everyone to share their favorite spots in town on the Southington Patch Facebook page. And you guys came up with many answers, highlighting every kind of restaurant you could imagine and even nominating Faith Living Church in Plantsville.

With a total of 39 comments, and many more businesses named than that, linking to everyone mentioned would be impossible, but here's a look at a few of those businesses that received multiple nominations:
- Pack Tracks Country Club
- Noble Japanese Hibachi & Sushi Bar
- Smokin with Chris
- Paul Gregory's Bistro Cafe
- Caffe' Del Mondo
- Family Pizza
- Anthony Jack's Wood Fire Grill
- Gobi Mongolian Grill
- The Fire Place
But now it's time to ask the questions. You've shared who you love, but what business could Southington most benefit from? Which favorite spot do we not have here in town? Where would you put them?
Share your thoughts - or talk more about your favorite business - in the comments section below. We want to hear from you!
