Readers' Choice: Vote for the Best Spot for Mother's Day Brunch

The nominations are in, the gauntlet has been thrown down and now it's time for you to lay it on the line: Where is the best place to go for brunch on Mother's Day?

There were a total of 11 responses to this week's question, but this was a fine example of last is not least.

Using the comment stream, people first recommended the Plainville-based restaurant Confetti's and the West Street establishment Cava before the tide began to change.

After a few shout outs on the Southington Patch Facebook page this week, people began commenting heavily and the third nomination, Hawks Landing, stole the show the rest of the way down to the Wednesday 5 p.m. deadline. But that was just for nominations. Now it's time to vote.
