Readers' Choice: Who Does Your Taxes?

With just a few weeks to go before Tax Day, Patch wants to hear your recommendations.

You have a few extra days this year beyond the normal April 15 filing deadline for taxes. That's because April 15 is a Sunday, and April 16 is Emanciptation Day — a holiday — in Washington, D.C.

But even with that extra cushion, the deadline is coming up fast. If you don't do your taxes yourself, where do you go for reliable service in Southington? Tell us in the comments and we'll tally up the votes.

The nominations will close on Thursday at 5 p.m., and we'll announce our Readers' Choices based on comments and Patch Places reviews by Saturday morning.

As a prior tax pro, I do my own taxes, using Turbo Tax. But, I do not recommend going it alone to everyone, as one must know how things should look, even when using the easy step-by-step processes offered by any tax software. Sometimes, even the best deductions have to be searched for!
