What's Open, What's Closed on Good Friday
Friday is a Holy Day in the Christian calendar, but not an official federal holiday.
April 22 is Good Friday. Most state and local government offices are closed but mail will be delivered and many businesses are open:
- Southington Town Hall: Closed.
- Southington Public Library: Closed.
- Southington Public Schools: Closed for April vacation.
- Southington Bulky Waste Transfer Station: Open Saturday.
- Banks: All Southington banks will be open regular hours.
- U.S. Post Offices: Open.
- State government offices: Closed.
- Supermarkets: All open, some closed or have reduced hours on Easter Sunday.
- State courts: Closed.
- Liquor stores: Open.
