Community Update

Hughes Health & Rehabilitation announced t the appointment of Michelle Lipka, MS, RD, as its new Registered Dietician.

Lipka will be responsible for managing and enhancing Hughes’ processes for meeting the nutritional needs of its residents, as well as maintaining Hughes’ quality control in delivering nutritional care.

“We are very excited to have Michelle join the Hughes Health family,” said Mark Finkelstein, vice president and administrator of Hughes.  “With more than 20 years of experience in long-term care, Michelle brings a sense of compassion and motivation to all those she serves.”

Prior to her appointment at Hughes, Lipka served as a Registered Dietician for Athena Health Care Systems

Lipka holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from the University of Saint Joseph and a Master of Science degree in Nutrition from the University of New Haven.

Lipka resides in Southington with her husband and three children.
