CAFD Receives Certificate of Appreciation from the Marine Corp. League

On April 1st , at a meeting of the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Fairfield County, CT Appliance & Fireplace Distributors (CAFD) was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Marine Corps League. Last year, the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Fairfield County was involved with a project to repair Hurricane Sandy damage at the Marine Corp. League building in Ridgefield, and CAFD donated GE appliances to the project.

“When the Marine Corp. League needed new appliances,  CAFD quickly volunteered to donate a GE freestanding gas range and a GE side by side refrigerator freezer, and delivered them to the Marine Corp. League within a couple of days,” said Fairfield County HBRA Building Hope Foundation President, Mary Boudreau. “The League was able to cook a pre parade Memorial Day breakfast on their new range thanks to the generosity of CAFD and GE Appliances.”

CAFD has been a strong supporter of local and statewide charities since its founding in 1967. Their 10,000 sf showroom at 50 Graham Place in Southington showcases the best brands in working fireplace and appliance displays, and CAFD offers the most complete working GE Monogram product display in the state.
