Jojo's Specialty Coffee and Tea Now Brewing On-Line with Enticing New Website

Hartford, CT, December 16, 2013—Jojo’s Coffee Roasting Co., the specialty coffee and tea retailer with two popular locations in Hartford and New Haven, has launched a brand new website at Jojosspecialitycoffeeandtea.com to bring to the coffee and tea-loving public quick and easy access to its exclusive products, history and customer benefits. The new online home also has “Wholesale” and “Coffee and Tea Club,” options to set up personal accounts, and more.

“We have the most loyal customers. When you offer the best and freshest coffee and tea, you’re simply going to attract the best people,” says Bill Sze, founder and owner of Jojo’s Coffee Roasting Co.. “We do, and they walk extra blocks and drive extra miles to get here, in any weather—which is why we’re so excited about this new website and wholesaling venture with my friend Hal. Now it doesn’t matter what the weather is. They can always be here!”

Hal Rowe, a friend of Bill’s for more than a dozen years, approached Bill during the summer of 2012 to pitch the idea of starting a business that would bring Jojo’s roasted offerings and tea selections to the public through the new e-commerce website, as well as wholesaling to Connecticut’s fine dining establishments and upscale food markets. An agreement was reached in September of 2012 and Jojo’s Specialty Coffee & Tea was born.

Rowe brings his drive for perfection and excellence in quality to the new venture, via his two decades of IT experience in quality assurance and control.  He has spent the last fifteen months under Sze’s tutelage to learn the fine art and science of selecting only the finest loose leaf teas and green bean coffees and then hand crafting and roasting the specialty grade coffees to bring out their best attributes.

“We are committed to spending as much time as necessary, carefully profiling and roasting our beans, which we select from around the world,” Rowe says.
