Residence Inn by Marriott Southington Proves to be One of the Best in the Brand

July 2, 2013 -- The Residence Inn by Marriott in Southington, Connecticut recently received a prestigious Diamond Award at Marriott International’s 2013 CRFST General Managers Conference in Orlando, Florida. The awards event honored specific properties in the Residence Inn brand for their achievements in customer service, breakfast quality, and social activities. The Residence Inn Southington is ranked in the top 5% of Residence Inn hotels nationwide, earning them the prestigious Diamond Award. This award is based on the hotel’s overall guest satisfaction ratings and financial success during the year. Recipients of the Diamond Award are also eligible to submit a nomination for Hotel of the Year. The 94-room Residence Inn Southington is managed by Waterford Hotel Group, a national hotel and convention center management firm.

The Residence Inn Southington was also one of only three hotels within the brand to receive an award for “Service So Memorable”. This award was given to the hotels with the three highest scores for Guest Satisfaction, based on the quality of the overall staff. Residence Inn Southington’s general manager Kristen Pikula attended the conference and accepted these highly respected awards on behalf of the hotel.
