Live Musical Production of the Nativity - Sunday, Dec. 9th at 6:30 pm at St. Dominic Church - All invited. Admission is Free

The Story of the Nativity written for, directed by, produced with cast and crew of local folks at St. Dominic Church on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 6:30 pm

The live musical production of The Nativity: Birth of Jesus, King and Savior, will  be presented at the Church of St. Dominic Church in Southington (at the corner of Flanders Rd. and Laning Street).

The date is Sunday, December 9th.  Production starts at 6:30 pm.

The production, an original which premiere in December 2010, was conceived by members of St. Dominic Parish that year with the script based on the Gospels of Luke and Matthew.

The story is portrayed by narrators and actors of the St. Dominic community and circle of friends with the action and background images presented on the church's two large screens throughout the production.  Music and direction is by Lisa Carroll, who is also director of the H.I.S. (Halleluia in Song), contemporary music choir of St. Dominic.  

The author of this article conceived of the idea, did the research and wrote the script and co-produced it in collaboration with Director, Lisa Carroll, a recognized figure in community theatre work in the Greater Southington area.

Reception with light refreshments will follow in the Geraghty Parish Center, adjoining the church.
