Reports are coming over the news services that at leaset 26 have been killed by one or two shooters or one shooter with two guns in an elementary school in Newtow this morning. Eighteen children are among the dead plus eight adults who had been at work at the school. Law enforcement people have swarmed the normally small, quiet area of Newtown where chaos has been reported to have broken out.
A news conference is expected momentarily.
