Weekly Update of the Calendar House Senior Center: Promoting Active, Healthy and Interesting Lifestyles.

Today, we introduce a new feature in my Southington Patch blog, a weekly update of Calendar House, the Southington Senior Center where senior citizens of our community enjoy many active, healthy, informativ eand entertaining activities.

This first in a series of continuing weekly updates supplements the Calendar House Monthly Newsletter which is availalbe at the Calendar House located at 388 Pleasant Street, at the corner of Hobart Street and across from the DePaolo Middle School in Southington.  The monthly newsletter is also availab. A copy may be picked up at the Calendar House office or by calling 860-621-3014.

CALENDAR HOUSE CLOSED Tuesday, December 25 for the Christmas holiday.  

COMPUTER CLUB meets Wednesday, December 26 at 1:00pm

BLOOD PRESSURE: with Marc Levesque, MS; CT Center for Healthy Aging - Referrals & Resources Wednesday, December 26th, 12:30-1:30 pm

55 ALIVE SAFE DRIVING COURSES Friday, January 11 at 8:45 a.m. - 1 p.m. One day only class focuses on latest driving techniques with emphasis on defensive driving. No in-car training involved, only classroom. Cost: $12. - AARP members (must provide membership #) $14. - non AARP members. Payable to AARP.  Register at 860.621.3014.

may arrange for a tour of the facility.  Hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday

through Friday.
