Join American Legion Fall Trip to Garrison, NY - Oct. 27, 2013

Graymoor is a historic monastery of the Franciscan Friars of Atonement located in Garrison, New York on the beautiful Hudson River. A marvelous attraction for travelers and tourists as well as for religious pilgrims.

The American Legion Kiltonic Post 72 in Southington is hosting a bus trip to The Franciscan Friars of the Atonement at Graymoor in Garrison, N.Y. on Sunday, October 27, 2013.  What a great time of year to travel through Connecticut and New York State viewing the colorful fall foliage and beautiful scenery, virtually right in our backyard!

Our bus will leave the Municipal Parking Lot next to the American Legion Post #72 behind the Town Green at 8:00 am on Sunday, Oct. 27th. That will allow time for those who wish to attend Mass at 11:00 am to do so at the Atonement at Graymoor and time to visit some of the many attractive sites at Graymoor.

Tickets are only $25.00 per person.  Lunch is not provided but you may bring a lunch and beverages with you. Note: There is no food available at the Atonement. The plan is to travel, rain or shine, so weather appropriate dress is advised.  Departure for the return trip to Southington will be at 4:00 pm.
