September 11th.
Twelve years.
Where are we?
We are weary of war.
We are weary of loss of precious lives,
wounds of the body and spirit of innocent people,
weary of omnipresent tragedies wrought by the evil insanity of humans visiting the most incredibly cruel horrors on other humans.
We turn then today, as always, to our heavenly Father praying for Him to grant us peace through his grace in bringing out the best that we can be.
And now, we present a poem by one the many millions
who still remembers 9/11 today.

Our tears meld with yours
to prepare this wound
for future growth.
Our prayers reach out
to heal these emotional scars,
to let you know
your loss is ours.
Though more pain may lie ahead
It is what lies within you
and those who have perished
that has meaning;
it is the human spirit.
