Pride in America: A Day in NYC visiting Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and 911 Memorial

Enjoy one day of patriotism, excitement, love of the American story in a modestly priced deluxe touro of New York.

All are welcome to join this wonderful one-day tour of New York where you will visit the iconic sities of New York and the Harbor, including the renowned Waterfront at South Street Seaport and Fulton Street, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the 911 Memorial. 

You'll travel via comfortable deluxe motor-coach, leaving from the commuter parking lot at I-84, exit 29, located at the junction of Rt. 10 and Mulberry St. in Plantsville, CT.  Coach will board at 7:45 am and depart for New York at 8 am, SHARP.

We'll arrive at South Street Seaport at about 10:30 with time to explore this unique place of New York history and have lunch, on your own, before the coach takes us to the Ferry to the Statue of Liberty where you'll have about an hour to visit the Statue's base and enjoy the view of NY Harbor from that vantage point. 

Next, you will ferry to Ellis Island and its museum which is dedicated to the millions of immigrants of the 19th and early 20th century who made America their neew home and helped build our country. 

We will then ferry back to lower Manhattan where the coach will deliver us to the new 911 Memorial for about a one-hour visit.

The sponsoring Southington Knights of Columbus has made reservtions and arrangements for us at each point as a group, facilitating each visit while minimizing waiting time.  

When day is done, our coach will return us to Southington, arrival estimated at 8:00 pm with a stop at a restaurant along the way where you may enjoy dinner, on your own. Fun and games will be provided on the return trip.
