Board of Finance Passes Budget With 1.29 Percent Increase –

The Board of Finance came to a unanimous decision Wednesday evening, forwarded a recommendation for a $125.2 million budget on to the Town Council for final adjustments.

Film Screening: Islands –


Try something new this afternoon with the New Britain Museum of American Art.

The museum will host a screening of the hour-long film “Islands,” a documentary about artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude. The film will be shown at 1pm and again at 2 p.m. at the museum, 56 Lexington St. in New Britain.
