'Forever in Blue Jeans'

The YMCA's biggest fundraiser of the year drew a crowd of nearly 600 and could help raise as much as $65,000 for their Community Support Campaign

The 's annual fundraiser 'Forever in Blue Jeans' drew nearly 600 participants to the Aqua Turf and YMCA Executive Director said they were hopeful that with the turnout and an extensive silent auction, the event could raise $65,000 for charity.

The annual program serves as the YMCA's biggest fundraiser of the year, with all the proceeds going to the Community Support Campaign, which helps provide funds to a variety of non-profit initiatives.

The Friday fundraiser also gave community members an opportunity to honor ,who received the YMCA's Compass Award.
