Need to Make an Insurance Claim?

The state's Insurance Department has information on its website for residents who need to make a claim.

As lights return to most Southington families and yards are cleaned up, one thing remains: that dreaded insurance claim.

Connecticut residents can find toll-free telephone numbers for their insurance companies and other helpful information regarding claims and policy questions related to Storm Irene on the Connecticut Insurance Department website, Commissioner Thomas B. Leonardi said today.

“We continue to update our website and work with other state agencies and insurers to get the latest information to our citizens so they can get prompt service on their claims,” Leonardi said.

Get the latest updates on the department’s Irene Resource page, follow the department on Facebook and Twitter, or contact its Consumer Affairs unit for assistance: 860-297-3900 or 800-203-3447.
