The following is a look at photographs showing the destruction of Hurricane Irene as first shown on East Haven Patch.
By the time Hurricane Irene left East Haven, more than 20 homes either collapsed or are on the verge of doing. The damage was massive, and these photos provided by Gov. Dannel P. Malloy's office shows the damage in the Cosey Beach and the rest of the shoreline in East Haven.
