Wintery Wonderland –

By the time snowfall finally comes to a stop, much of Southington is expected to be under at least a foot of snow. The National Weather Service has issued a warning for all of Connecticut through 7 p.m. tonight and local police are encouraging people who don’t need to travel to stay home.

Cancellations –

Southington schools will be closed today and will not have any extra-curricular activities. Town Hall and all government offices are also being closed due to inclement weather with no scheduled meetings.
