Snow Update: Trucks Called in To Saturday to Deal With Minor Snowfall

Town Manager Gary Brumback issued a statement updating residents that the town is taking action against today's snow accumulation.

The following update was provided by Southington Town Manager Garry Brumback on Thursday evening:

I wanted to give everyone a quick update. We have completed almost all of the recovery efforts from Blizzard Charlotte but recognize that the community is still sensitive to changing weather conditions.

Today we are having minor snowfall, which could cause some concerns. As of 8 a.m. today, Highway has inspected all of our streets and called in five trucks to do spot salting in order to keep our roads clear.

Gary, shut up with the statements already; just get the troops to move the snow. Sheesh, what a maroon!
