A Durham man is the lucky winner of a $1,000,000 lottery jackpot.
Stephan Pagano's ticket matched all six of the winning Classic Lotto numbers drawn on Feb. 26. He purchased the ticket at the Price Chopper in Southington.
Lotter officials said Pagano claimed the jackpot’s cash lump-sum prize for $786,721 at Lottery headquarters in Rocky Hill and received a check for $537,330 (after taxes).
The store will receive $10,000 for selling the winning ticket.
The chance of winning the Classic Lotto jackpot is approximately 1 in 7.1 million.
