Kids Entertainment Series
Tuesday, July 17, 6 p.m., at , Maxwell Noble Drive in Plantsville.
All shows are held on Tuesday evenings at the gazebo in the pine grove at Recreation Park, with this week's show including Bill the fun magician and Andy the comedy juggler. In case of inclement weather, shows will be held indoors at South End School (located within the park). "Solar Plunge"/Sloper Hall of Fame
Wednesday, July 18, 5:30 p.m. at Camp Sloper, 100 East St.
The annual celebration for new hall of fame inductees will include a special addition this year - the first-ever "Solar Plunge." The plunge will help raise funds for camper scholarships.

Drive-In Movie Night

Friday, July 20, at the , 966 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike in Plantsville.
"Free Willy" - Rated PG, hosted by the Southington Junior Women's Club. Gates open at 6 p.m.; movies begin at sunset. Rain date is Sunday. Southington residents pay $10 a carload; non-residents pay $13 a carload. Walk-ins are welcome at $2 per person - please bring lawn chairs. Food vendors will be on site. Movies subject to change.
