Apple Harvest Festival
Downtown Southington, from Friday, Oct. 5, to Sunday, Oct. 7
The biggest event of the year, thousands are expected to flock to downtown Southington for the popular Apple Harvest Festival. The festival will take place Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Headers for Heroes
Friday, Oct. 5, 3 p.m. at Southington High School, 720 Pleasant St.
SHS Boys Soccer presents "Headers for Heroes" to benefit the Wounded Warror Project. See the SHS Blue Knights take on the Bristol Central Rams! A $5 donation at the gate for admission. Would you like to support this worthy cause but can't attend the event? CLICK HERE to donate online!

Fan of the Foundation Gala
Friday, Oct. 5, 5:30 p.m., at the Aqua Turf Club, 556 Mulberry St. in Plantsville.
The 4th Annual Fan of the Foundation Gala. Fans are invited to "Tailgate at the Turf" in support of the SEF's mission to instill a love of learning in school children.
