Why did you run for office?
To help make a positive difference in our community for future generations. To improve our quality of life.

If elected, what would be your primary areas of focus?
Commercial Economic Development and Land Preservation, which will keep our taxes low for our homeowners and seniors. With a higher commercial tax base, we can continue to support our education system, which helps put us on the map. I will also use my position on Activate Southington, to promote healthy living here in Southington.

What do you feel is the biggest issue facing Southington today?
Our outdated sewer treatment facility.

What skills do you have that you could bring to the community?
I have over 20 years of public service as an elected official and community volunteer. I travel a lot, for my business, to very successful communities around the country. While there, I am often digging for information on what makes these communities successful. I take these ideas and experiences home with me. I believe this knowledge can be useful when governing for Southington's future.
