Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Recovery Workshop

Has your
business ever been affected by severe weather or a natural disaster? Were you

Central
Connecticut State University’s Institute of Technology and Business Development
and the Central CT Regional Planning Agency
will host a day-long Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Recovery Workshop in
New Britain from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.



Gain
valuable information about preparing business continuity plans; recovering from
disasters; accessing funding resources; and, working with utilities and emergency
personnel.  Expert speakers include representatives from the Travelers
Institute, Connecticut Light and Power/Northeast Utilities, the Connecticut
Insurance Department, the Division of Emergency Management and Homeland
Security, FEMA, the Small Business Administration, the Department of Community
and Economic Development, and more.
