The renowned Southington High School Jazz Band will perform in the First Congregational Church meetinghouse on Sunday, March 9 at 6:00 p.m. We will begin the evening with a pancake supper at 5:00 p.m. in Memorial Hall. A free-will offering will be accepted for both events. Calls to the church office at 860-628-6958 to let us know how many people will be attending the supper would be helpful, but is not required.
SHS Band Director, Jeff Shaw, was recently honored as one of “50 Directors Who Make a Difference” by School Band & Orchestra magazine, also reported in the Meriden Record-Journal.
