Sunday July 28th is Family Day at Gathering of the Vibes

Sunday July 28 is Connecticut Family Day at Gathering of the Vibes. A day for families to come together and enjoy great music, fun activities and time together; Connecticut Family Day features: painting on a community mural, children's entertainers, face painting, hair wraps, arts & crafts, dancing with life-sized puppets, trips to the BioBus, ride the 85 ft high Ferris wheel, or jam on professional equipment with musicians from the Green Vibes and Main stages at the School of Rock Stage. Kids also have an opportunity to learn about production, sound and lighting from Vibes production pros. 

From 9:00am to sundown kids 15 and under will be admitted free when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Gathering of the Vibes welcomed over 2000 kids under the age of 15 in 2012.

Setting the mood, Sunday will begin with the World Peace Ceremony & Puppet Parade; followed by some incredible performances including: Andy the Music Man, Max Creek, local favorites--The McLovins, Band Together, Blues Traveler, John Butler Trio, Fishbone & The Black Crowes.

Location: Seaside Park, Corner of Barnum Boulevard & Barnum Dyke, Bridgeport, Connecticut.  Special pricing for Connecticut residents and active members of the military. Bridgeport residents may also purchase a 3-day passes for $75.
