Southington Youth Services popular middle school after-school
program designed to build Positive Life Skills begins its first session the
week of October 9th, 2012.
The program is held on Tuesdays at JFK Middle School and on Thursdays at
DePaolo Middle School. This year the
program has been lengthened to 9 weeks and the fee has been reduced. Also, students may try the program for 2
weeks before committing to join. Using
the Developmental Assets model, adopted by STEPS, students will build
individual CODEs that guide them into life able to make good decisions,
communicate effectively, develop healthy relationships and become productive
adults.
